- Job Description:
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week, each period lasts between 35-45 min depending on the grade level
- Develop lesson plans in alignment with school guidelines, employ adaptable and varied teaching methodologies, and proficiently accomplish teaching responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality UOI lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the PYP
- Inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve
- Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge
- Communicate accurately and regularly with parents about student progress and behavior
- Liaise with the Head of Department and PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom
- Document students' learning through the Student Portfolio, anecdotal notes, checklists, and other methods
- Contribute to and participate in school activities such as assemblies, festivals, conferences, workshops
- Maintain constant awareness of the needs of every student in your class
- Completes all classroom (teaching, learning, and behavior) related administrative tasks on-time and in the proper format
- Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Education, science-related, or in the field of the applied teaching position
- Licensed teachers with accredited credentials are preferred
- English language teaching certifications such as CELTA, DELTA are also welcome
- English Native speakers are preferred
