Beijing, November 3 (Xinhua): China has recently issued a major plan on IPR protection and application work for the 14th Quinquennial Plan period (2021-2025) , highlighting innovation, application and protection in the sector, according to the authorities of intellectual property rights.

The key quantitative indicators for the period 2021-2025 will have been reached when the number of invento patents of high value per 10,000 people reaches 12, when the number of patents granted abroad, it carries out 90,000, and when the annual import and export volume of royalties of intellectual property carries out 350 billion yuan (around 54.7 billion US dollars).

Another indicator will have been reached when the added value of the intensive patent. The industries represented 13 percent of GDP, and that of the copyright industries of 7.5 percent, according to the plan.

The plan describes five key tasks for the next five years of IPR protection work to stimulate the vitality of innovation, sustain the development of the real economy, benefit People through innovation, serve the open economy and increase the talent and cultivation of culture.

To meet the objectives, the NIPA has launched 15 specializ. ED projects in four main sectors: protection of IPR, industrial transfer, the construction of a service system and talent cultivation.
